soft latches:


"Soft Latches" are handy because they allow you to replace a toggle switch with a momentary switch,
to turn something on or off. Latches can actually be cheaper too, because high current toggle switches
tend to be more expensive than the parts required to make a high current latch.

They can be more user-friendly to use too, as well as being more durable.
